Tel Aviv Museum of Fine Art II

Tel Aviv Museum of Fine Arts.

I invite everyone to a photo walk on June 3 at 10.00 am.

Galina Gershman and I are jointly organizing the event. An absolutely delightful museum that has a lot to see, a lot to talk about and a lot to photograph. Non-photographers are also welcome! The conversation will be wider and more voluminous than just about photography, and I believe that it can be interesting for any person who is not indifferent to visual art. Pictures, people, the building itself - everything is interesting, everything is a reason for shooting and discussing.

I bring to your attention some of my many pictures taken over the past couple of years and at least seven trips to this already beloved museum. A very high-quality building in excellent condition is interesting in itself as an excellent example of architecture of the 60-70s of the last century.

A small but rather nice collection of old European masters, including a small work by Dürer, for example. There is a young Rembrandt. And absolutely magnificent Rubens. One attributed to the workshop, but what a!

As for the interval from the beginning of impressionism to the second half of the 20th century, this is simply delight and joy for the most sophisticated eye. And a great benefit for the inexperienced. Pissarro, Renoir, Bonnard, Degas, Dongen, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, Chagall, Soutine, Picasso, Miro, Archipenko, Klimt, Pollak and more and more and more ... A little bit of everything, excellent works, in excellent condition and many even under non-reflective glasses, which in itself is wonderful. Thanks to the museum and all the collectors who collected, preserved and donated all this varied joy and luxury. Giving us all, by the way. And we sit by the TV and watch series. I propose to take a break and go after all, and see what's what with your own eyes. Let's hang out and chat. The atmosphere is very conducive to the choice of the right topics. For those who were there, I note that the permanent exhibition is constantly updated, and very intensively. And then, what are the memories of a meeting twenty or even ten years ago with a noteworthy picture worth today?
