Announcement -
Tel Aviv Museum of Fine Arts. I invite everyone to a photo walk on June 3 at 10.00 am.
Galina Gershman and I are jointly organizing the event. An absolutely delightful museum with a lot to see and talk about. The building, paintings, people - everything is interesting for photographers and not only.
I bring to your attention some of my many shots taken over the past couple of years and at least seven trips to this already beloved museum.
A small but rather nice collection of old European masters, including a small work by Dürer, for example. There is a young Rembrandt. And absolutely magnificent Rubens. One attributed to the workshop, but what a!
As for the interval from the beginning of impressionism to the second half of the 20th century, this is simply delight and joy for the most sophisticated eye. And a great benefit for the inexperienced. Impressionists and post-impressionists, modernists of all stripes are very well represented. Renoir, Monet, Bonnard, Degas, Dongen, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, Chagall, Magritte, Picasso, Miro, Archipenko, Klimt, Pollock and more and more and more… Artists with Jewish roots are expectedly well represented; Chagall, Soutine, Modigliani, Pissarro, Kisling and others. There is also a rather extensive exhibition of contemporary Israeli art, but this part of the exhibition is not included in our walk.
For those who need all this and are interested - write to WhatsApp: +972 54-4709136.
The cost of the walk is 100 shekels. Museum tickets are not included in the price.
